Inter, Milan, and Juventus will face fiery competition for Alessandro Buongiorno, as PSG and Atletico Madrid have started chasing after the Torino star as well. The Colchoneros have contacted the player’s representatives and his team, TuttoSport relays.

The Spanish side will most likely have to replace Mario Hermoso, who is on the verge of leaving on a Bosman move.

PSG would have the least trouble meeting the price tag set by Torino for Buongiorno, at least €40M. Milan Skriniar has had a challenging first season in Ligue 1 and could be replaced already. The defender is tight with Gianluigi Donnarumma.

The Granata will try to postpone his departure for another year again. However, it will be challenging for them to resist if the bids reach certain sums. Atalanta almost signed him last summer, but the move was nixed at the 11th hour.

Milan are the most interested among the Serie A sides as their rearguard has been lacking and injury-riddled this campaign. Inter would be in the running if Torino accepted youngsters in return. Juventus would pursue him if Gleison Bremer left, but he’s unlikely to transfer crosstown.

Our Take on Buongiorno

If that’s really his price tag, the Rossoneri are the only ones with a real shot in Italy. Torino were lucky and good last year, as the center-back himself pushed to stay, but wouldn’t pass on a larger profit this time around. If he confirmed himself in the Euro, a move abroad would be more likely.
